To all the people that want facebook down, why?
For the most part, fb is an incredibly useful website for keeping in touch with family and friends.
That's the complete opposite of being anti-social xD
Sure, there are stupid people on fb but that's the internet in general.
I'd take down aol, simply bc it's a terrible reminder of the absolutely shitty internet speeds that were the standard just a few years ago.

Because 90% of the people on Facebook are morons.
Because of those 1000s of idiotic pages.
Because these spam posts of stuff that you can't view before you like it.
Because it would be interesting to see what people would do. Imagine no Facebook for a week.

To be clear, I'm not saying there's no downsides to fb. The points you mentioned are good points against it as a site, but I feel like the pros outweigh the cons especially considering that you can avoid the con's relatively easily (compared to a site like reddit or 4chan anyway)
