You can remove a vital function of your body, with no side effects, which one?

No sleep would be awesome for me.

I'd invest all the time in TMS, gaming, making some money online,...

I'd remove the option of being able to die, but with the option of being able to die (re-enabling dieing). Might get quite useful when all the oil runs out

That's not exactly a vital function lmao

It is. If no one were to die in the world we would have seem serious problems. People would not die, thus the population of the earth would simply increase (potentially exponentially causing major world problems). So it is a rather vital "function".

I think you missed the part of the title that says "of your body" xD
It's referring to a function of your body necessary for you to keep living, not a vital function of society or the world....

Life is a symptom of death and death is vital to living/being alive.

Anyway, I agree with getting rid of breathing or sleeping. I'd go eating.

I wouldn't get rid of eating, I love to eat, eating is amazing. :l

I'd remove the sensors that detect whether it is too hot or cold.

I think you have it backwards
death is a symptom of life and life is 'vital' for death.
You can't die unless you've lived and if you live you will eventually die...

I don't see how death could possibly be vital to being alive?

And I agree with Nimph. Not to be a fatass or anything but eating is a great sensation although I can understand why someone would get rid of it

Without death there would be no evolution. Without evolution you would not be here. Without death there could be an infinite amount of humans alive, hogging up the planet.

Again...vital to one's own survival and society's survival are two separate things entirely.
Death being vital to being alive is an oxymoron.
I understand that death is necessary for the survival of society but it's clearly not a function necessary for a person to keep living....which is what a 'vital function of your body' is...
I really don't think you two understand exactly what the question is asking...

I'd change my metabolism to be of those people that can eat burgers and burgers without getting fat, that's amazing

I would get rid of going to the toilet.

Strange, I know. But it will give use more time to do the things we like or spend more time with the people we love.

That actually makes sense.. Also sometimes I really hate going.

But that feeling when you really need to go, but you can't, but after a while you finally can go. You will miss that.
