It's kinda funny how those leaks often turn out to be true... Same for the Lego DLC.
Honestly, Mexico sounds kinda dope. Here's to hoping there'll be some The Crew style desert raid vehicles and races involved.

- We will be able to choose between małe and female character (voiced) (Name: Dani Rojas)
- Story may be quite dark and even disturbing
- Gameplay is very classic
- Lots of weapons and handmade weaponry and vehicles
- Special backpacks called "Supremo Backpacks" and you can pretty much see what are they able to do on the video, AoE damage, mortar strike
- Companions/pets. For example a dog which will be able to distract enemies for you and an aggressive crock.
- Parts of clothing that provides statistics. For example clothing for stealth/combat etc. (He says something about required playstyle, probably for some missions)
- RPG element like in previous games. (He didint say anything about HP bars but i think they will be back)
- He says that the story might be similar to the movies: Sky Rojo OR Army of the dead (revenge, loss, etc.)
- Classic Far Cry, no revolution (in gameplay I guess) and with evolutions in gameplay

Choice between male and female character seems lifted from FC5. It's likely built on the same engine, so that explains. Although the "voiced" element suprised (and delighted) me. The silent protag in FC5/ND kinda bummed me out.
Dark storyline? It'd better. The storylines in FC3, 4 and 5 were pretty bleak as well. I mean, 3's ending literally
gives you the choice to slit your GF's throat
I don't like the "homemade" look some of the guns have :( They did the same thing in FC:ND, and I still prefer the factory fresh look from FC2, 3, 4 and 5. Personal preference, although that mortar/rocketlauncher backpack looks fucking dope as hell.
Also seems like they re-used the "guns-for-hire" system, and now introduced a crocodile as a companion. I like that. I like that a lot.
Clothing with stats seem to tie into the "RPG elements" mentioned. I don't mind a bit of RPG elements, but this seems like the wrong move. I don't wanna grind forever to get a better piece of clothing.
And it's kinda funny that they don't have a "revolution" in the gameplay, while the story will be centered around a revolution. Still, I can see how some people didn't like that aspect in FC5/ND, so I have no qualm with it going away. As long as they give us a proper carrot on a stick to continue playing the game besides "kill bad guy".
I'd love a Far Cry 3 remaster btw. Unrelated to this leak I know, but I just re-watched the trailers for FC3 and I still love the concept.
