I mean, yeah, I can't see that combo work either, but somewhere there is a design company that just got paid a fuckload of money to make it work, so... We'll see, I guess.

Let’s go! Really hoping Leclerc ends in top 5.
Also hoping for a non Mercedes win.
 
Well, that was a great start. Safety car on lap 1, and 2 cars out after 4 turns.

And of course, the top 3 is Merc-Merc-RB.

And in the end the result was not that surprising (apart from Hamilton's penalty)

Then again I did enjoy this race.
Huge kudos to Leclerc for ending up #6 with that crappy engine.

How close the championship is outside of the top 3: P4 to P9 are separated by only 9 points.

What a bombshell. Honda is quitting F1, which means Red Bull will have no engine next year, which means they'll have to come begging back to Renault next year. (or buy a Mercedes (most likely) or Ferrari (unlikely) engine.

EDIT: I also can't see Verstappen staying if the team buys a Renault engine.
