Wordle - The New York Times

Objective is to find the correct 5 letter word.
Green means the letter is in the word and in the correct position.
Yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong position.
Try to find the word with as little tries as possible.

For the past few Wordles I've always gone with the idea that the word is somewhat unique-ish, and not some common word.

Somehow I managed to come up with a word "joist" on fourth guess (I don't even know what it meant), only then to figure out it was "moist"

As I understood it, the list of possible words is every 5 letter word in the dictionary, but the list of words that are used for the solution is a much shorter list of more commonly known words.
