The Twitch (Streamers) Thread

Honestly, I was more surprised he did show up than not. He's had some... questionable missed appointments in the past.

Also, he was scheduled for another event later that day. And yesterday, Ludwig (the guy in the beginning) tried to get xQc to play a trailer for the show in xQc's stream, but xQc just ignored him. It was either the best marketing ever, or xQc just is really, really irresponsible.

Btw, the linked clip doesn't work? Not sure... This link should work:

And for future reference, the /r/livestreamfails subreddit has a bot that automatically uploads clips to a seperate server, in case a clip gets deleted. Find this particular clip here:

babe wake up new twitch drama dropped

Well, I say drama. More like "horrible situation".
You might know of Amouranth. She's the OG tiddy streamer. She pioneered horny content, from kiddie pools to slurping into a ASMR mic. But now it turns out that she didn't come up with those things. Her husband did.

Oh yes, she is married! But not for long, it seems. In a rather dramatic stream, Amouranth detailed how her husband (soon to be ex-husband, hopefully) is a controlling, gaslighting, abusive, and manipulative asshole. She shows DMs, where he rages against her for "not following the plan". He threatened to waste hundreds of thousands of her money, if she didn't do what he told her to. It's the textbook definition of a horribly abusive relationship.

The stream ended abruptly, when Amouranth's "assistant" knocked on her door, asked her if she "had taken her medication" (to which Amouranth replied "what are you talking about?"), and suddenly the stream was cut short. Nobody was seen touching the PC, so it was likely the internet being cut. All signs point to the husband sending the "assistant" over to ask weird questions to make Amouranth seem crazy, before cutting the connection.

Situation is still ongoing, but holy shit is it depressing. This woman made millions with her content. Horny content, sure, but still. And now it turns out to all be a carefully orchestrated illusion by some psycho abuser? As usual, /r/livestreamfails is all over it, with the front page being flooded with clips from the already infamous stream.

Hopefully, we won't have to see her again. Hopefully, she manages to escape that hell, and gets the help she needs. Hopefully, she can take all of her money, and retire somewhere quiet and out of reach from any fucking maniac who can't seem to leave her alone. Hopefully, she can fulfill her dream (apparently) of opening up an animal sanctuary. Because her content and earnings may have been based on horniness, but she doesn't deserve this.

Reddit links, because no way in hell will those clips stay up:

Ohhhh, some nice, entertaining drama!

It's a good one! MoistCritikal vs Sneako.
Sneako was a rapidly rising "edgy" Youtuber, who quickly took a dive into infamy after he started spouting some seriously whacked up shit (including calling Cuties "a great movie"). As of now, he's just another Andrew Tate dickrider, who keeps spouting the most reprehensible shit, just to get attention. This 1 hour Turkey Tom video explains his whole story pretty well, if you have the time. Needless to say, he's been banned from almost all platforms due to his inflammatory comments. And in his "exlie", Sneako went into "lash out" mode. Effectively, it means that he's just shouting abuse at anyone who dares look at him wrong. But, of course, as usual with this kind of bravado, it's all bluster and chest-pounding. When push comes to shove, and someone actually takes him up on it, he gets really quiet. Sneako tried to challenge the aforementioned Turkey Tom to a "debate", to which Tom happily agreed. So, of course, Sneako immediately stopped talking about TT.

And then he started shouting at Charlie.

Charlie, better known as "MoistCritikal", "Penguinz0", "Big Moist", "Jesus", or "That guy from The Hunger Games", is a react/gaming YouTuber/streamer with a pretty huge following. He is well known for eloquent similes and memorable one-liners. Now, Charlie did not take Sneako's insults kindly. Charlie made a response video, basically laughing at Sneako and calling him a loser, effectively telling him to shut up and sit down.

To which Sneako responded with "no you". He started shouting more, and eventually challenged Charlie to a fight. Because that's the only logical course of action, obviously. What followed was Sneako making strange incoherent rants on his own stream, including a bizarre clip of him waving a gun around, shouting "these are the only clips I'm watching", while flashing his (loaded) magazine in front of the camera.

And then Charlie clapped back with a brutal video, in which he details further how much of a fucking degenerate idiot Sneako is. It was 15 minutes of pure, glorious, and most importantly, deserved bullying. It also included a whiplash inducing moment, as Charlie starts to educate Sneako on proper gun control and terminology, by whipping out two of his own pieces - including a decked out AR. Seriously, watch the first 2:15 minutes of this vid. The chad levels are insane. Charlie is a Florida Man, after all.

So far, Sneako hasn't responded. No doubt he's trying (and probably failing) to come up with clever comebacks, but honestly? Charlie has won over the vast majority of the internet here.

At the end, this is just some nice "shooting fish in a barrel" level of drama. Just laughing at a degenerate idiot asshole who keeps thinking he's cooler than he actually is.

calling Cuties "a great movie
That's one way to ruin your career.

Watching this as soon as I get home from work. Can't wait.

That’s gonna be a ban.

Fucking Andrew Taint dickrider. Dude has been shouting all kinds of weird shit for a while, now.

What having an edgy teenaged audiance does to a motherfucker.

I don't even get why this guy got popular in the first place.

Drama time! It's a good one - Twitch vs. the Community! It always ensures sparks fly.

If you're out of the loop, because you're not insane and wildly too invested in this hellhole site like me, Twitch recently updated their Terms of Service. One important change was in regards to "artistic nudity". Basically, up until now, drawing anything NSFW would be treated the same as if you would show actual tits on stream - you'd get banned. This was a bit of a sore spot, because Twitch has become home to a crapload of talented digital artists, who stream themselves drawing. And yes, all of those drawings were perfectly SFW, although a vast amount of them only just so - plenty of bikinis and suspiciously tight croptops were drawn.

Now, the new ToS explicitly states that this will be allowed, saying it was an unfair rule, that negatively impacted the art community. That means that, from now on, drawing tits or showing artistic nudity would be allowed.

And of course, that opened the fucking floodgates. Within minutes, the Art category was awash with NSFW streams, every artist under the sun taking the opportunity to draw boobs and huge furry cocks. It was, honestly, glorious. Some of the artwork was actually pretty good, too. But of course, the majority was just people jumping on the meta of "imma draw a massive cock now".

Enter the highly regarded, red-headed stepchild of doing stupid shit: PayMoneyWubby.
To his defense, Wubby has always been a very "if you won't tell me, imma find out" type of streamer. Toeing the line is only possible if you actually know where the line is, and when the line is blurry, Wubbert just jumps over it in an attempt to see what the limits are.
In the wake of the NSFW art meta, he decided to see what the new line was. He started watching NSFW stream after NSFW stream, showing cocks, boobs, asses, and giant werewolves lifting with an erection. It was insanity. He has a pretty high viewcount, and he was showing all of them the most fucked up and degenerate artists available on the platform.

So of course this happened:

He netted a seven day ban for his stream. But why? Was it the nudity? Was it some other slur? Mass reports?
Luckily Wubby himself deigned to reveal the answer to us:
1702629774457.png

Apparently, some of the artists that started drawing NSFW stuff, decided it would be a good idea to draw loli stuff. I've seen some clips fly by, now deleted, and the chat in those streams is absolutely disgusting. It's just unabashed pedophilia, egging the artists on to make more underage stuff. Luckily, those streams were quickly banned, but it seems that in typical Twitch fashion, the pendulum swung too far back to the other side again.

The most accepted theory in the community is that Wubby got hit due to a particularly suspicious AI femboy drawing. It wasn't anything illegal, just so we're clear, but an overzealous Twitch admin could see it as such, and make a quickfire decision without thinking more than 2 seconds about it.

So there we are. Twitch comes out with new, sloppily defined ruling, people immediately take advantage of the shitty writing, and things blow up spectacularly when Twitch can't decide on which parts of the rules it wants to follow, and what is or isn't bannable.
Well, Wubby deserved the vacation, anyway. Happy new year!

Honestly banning all nudity is way easier to moderate than allowing artistic nudity.
So hats off to them for actually trying to allow more stuff, obviously it didn't work out so far.
Not sure how it could be handled the right way either.

A story with very conflicting reactions, apparently. Twomad was a mad genius - he pioneered the "chaotic zoomer energy humor" editing style, but was also, in kind terms, completely fucked in the head. And a major asshole.

He was a rapidly rising star, especially with his Zoom meeting invasion videos (which were hilarious). And then, as always, allegations and witnesses came to light, with basically everyone coming forward to call him a total asshole.

And now he's dead. At 23. That's horribly young.

Funnily enough, Sumito of all people did a pretty good video on the situation. For a channel that usually deals with memes and shitposting, this was a fairly serious video, showing he took it pretty hard. An interesting 25 minutes, if you have the time.

Damn 23 is way too early, even if you're an asshole.
To be honest I've never heard of this guy before, but his face deff. looks familiar.

You may have seen clips like these floating by. It's what catapulted him into national(!) notoriety.
