No one can claim to be a messenger from God unless there is legitimate proof.
The pope and his religion are as phony as my belief in the Flying Spaghetti Monster and his religion of Pastafarianism. That being said, I would kill the pope for being a liar.
EDIT: Also, to each and their own. I just believe that religion is for the weak-minded. That being said, I won't condemn anyone for believing in a God, that's their personal belief. When they shove it down other people's throats, that's when I become aggravated.
