Didn't know this one until recently.

If your turn signal is blinking twice as fast as normal, it means one of the bulbs is fried.
So there you have it, if one of your blinkers acts like it has just OD'd on xtc, then it's probably close to dying.

Set a screenshot of your to-do list as your phone's lock screen
Use this one myself constantly, it's the only way I won't forget something.

If you have technical problems, reboot.
Works in most cases. If that didn't fix the problem, Google it. If you still can't find the problem, call for an expert.

When remembering a list, don't try to remember the specific items on a list. Remember the number of items you need.
You're less likely to forget something then.

You'll catch more flies with honey than with vinegar
Kinda cryptic, but it generally means DON'T BE A DICK. People are more likely to do something for someone they like than for someone they hate/fear.

Never put anything with a zipper in the dryer.
Otherwise you'll end up with the fake-boner look.

The price is relative to the quality
A more expensive branded product, build with better materials has a longer life than a cheap knockoff. Buying one thing for 50$ that lasts 5 years is better than buying something for 20$ every year.

Put your phone number in your wallet so if you lose it, whoever finds it can call you.

Explain it when you're back from your rock concert mate, interested in how this exactly works.

Format portable drives in exFAT
As opposed to NFTS or HFS+ formats exFAT allows recognition and use on both Windows (XP and later) and Mac OSX (10.6.5 and later) operating systems. As Mac OSX slowly gains market share and Windows maintains its near universal presence chances are you may need to access data on both platforms. Furthermore, exFAT eliminates the 4GB file size limit of FAT32.

Almost all pots and pans have a hole in the handle for ladels/spoons so you don't make a mess while cooking
Pretty obvious, but didn't realize this until recently
