The German Shepard, the burliest and whitest of all the dogs.

It really is the same as the default video game protagonist. Big, burly white dudes with short brown hair, and maybe some 5 o'clock shadow. That's the equivalent of the GSD. It's just a default dog.

No no no, the GSD is the typical burly white action hero, a la Arnold Schwarzenegger. A GR is the typical white pudgy comedy/romance movie lead, a la Hugh Grant.
