School invests in drone technology to patrol exam halls and stop cheats

A Belgian school appears to be following the lead of the US military and retail giant Amazon by utilising the latest advances in drone technology.

Thomas More school in Mechelen has posted a tongue-in-cheek YouTube video showcasing the use of a small drone to curb cheating in exams.

The miniature DJI Phantom aircraft, equipped with a GoPro video camera, requires one invigilator to control it while another checks the video monitor for any devious activity by students.
