Around 8:05 a.m., the Hawaii emergency employee initiated the internal test, according to a timeline released by the state. From a drop-down menu on a computer program, he saw two options: “Test missile alert” and “Missile alert.” He was supposed to choose the former; as much of the world now knows, he chose the latter, an initiation of a real-life missile alert.

What the fuck. That's some shitty UI design right there.

Shitty UI design indeed... what a fuck up.
I saw a gif earlier where people were shoving children in storm drains to protect them from the missile...

Well at least it's good to know for the kids that their parents are willing to sacrifice themselves to get them to safety... Or that they want to sacrifice them to Pennywise before the bombs hit.

It's even more fucked up when you watch the actual gif

It makes sense in a way, I guess. Those drains go deep, maybe even deep enough to survive a missile strike.

Eh you've still not convinced me to go down one, no matter what is hanging above our heads.
