^ No. If you replace them all there is no problem, it's like replacing all the variables.

This is true, but be careful if you do so you only replace variables.

You don't even have to, you could also only change the displayed text which would be enough for our purpose.

Btw, I downloaded the Thank-O-Matic and changed the 'ThankOMaticEnglish.XML' so it replaces the displayed Thank You with Like. Gonna upload it.
