Let's assume the person in question has 2 heads, but only one body.
The two heads both have their own brain, both can talk and think differently, but only one can control the body (the killer)
One of them has killed a man, which he admit, but the other head claims he is not guilty, that it was all the other head's fault.

I would think that maybe since the innocent head would probably be charged as an accomplice in the crime or at least some sort of quasi-related charge. Any way you look at it.. the poor innocent head is has pretty much been in a prison his whole life by not having control of the body
