Late bump, but I've been meaning to post this:

unfortunately, it seems it pushes people towards... Chrome (ium). Most of the less-tech-literate people I know that hear about Chrome pulled shady shenanigans, hop back to fucking Edge. Which is just blue Chrome, anyway.
I tried to push Firefox. Praised its ad-blocking capabilities. And was met with "but I get complaints about ads being blocked all the time!".

Fine, whatever. Enjoy getting virus after virus because you get shady ad after shady ad. If doing the minimum of research is too much for you, then good fucking luck.

Yup, time to stop wasting time trying to convince people something is better for them. People just won't listen.
