Sometimes you found out the original sample used for a well-known song, often that original song is even better than the well-known song.
We already had a topic for Brilliant Covers, but not one for interesting samples. I'll kick it off.

Holy shit, I never knew that riff was made by the Clash. Interesting.
 
Yeah, that melody was so ingrained in my brain, that I expected the Lady lyrics at any time while listening to the first song.
