How High is great, Friday is mediocre, and I also like Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice, that's it for "hood comedy" movies.

Leslie Nielsen will always be my go-to for comedy.

Leslie Nielsen is always funny. So is Mel Brooks, and, come to think of it, the whole Monty Python crew. The Holy Grail is amazingly hilarious.
