I've watched the matrix many times, and I know abt the pills and such but I still don't get the facebook part.

Fries, the picture is just pointing out that Facebook is not the real world, it's kind of saying that when you shut down your Facebook account, you're back in the 'real world'.
Can't think of a better way to explain it.
