Imagine walking into a store and buying everything. On 20th of May a group of artists did exactly that. The artists chose Hercules Fancy Grocery in West Village, NYC to stage the project when they became aware that Hercules was at risk of losing his business. The gargantuan retail purchase (acquired through cash advances) took six hours and two receipt rolls to complete, leaving a very happy yet flabbergasted Hercules in its wake. The store items are now being transformed into collectable Pop Art. The proceeds from the sales will be going towards helping Hercules stay in business and to pay off those cash advances.
