Top Gear USA Gets Cancelled By History Channel
Tomorrow’s episode of Top Gear USA will be the last one, as Rutledge Wood announced on his Instagram feed.
However he continued on saying that the show is far from completely done, just cancelled “for the immediate future of History Channel”.
“It's been an amazing ride for sure, and although I don't think the show is done, it appears that it's done with our friends at History”, said Wood on his post, adding that "we're incredibly grateful for being a part of the A&E Networks family.”
The last episode of Top Gear’s US version will feature a trip to Cuba where Tanner Foust, Adam Ferrara and Rutledge Wood are driving some classic American cars of the ‘50s. Wood also said that the three of them will stick together in order to try and revive the series through a different broadcaster.
“To the FANS- we cannot say enough how much we truly appreciate each and every one of you. You have always been there for us in great numbers, and we really do love you all,” said Wood. “You are the reason shows like ours exist, and you're also the reason we've been so lucky to do this show for so long together.”
With the British show having its own problems, as Matt LeBlanc said he'll quit unless BBC ousts Chris Evans, the trio of former TG hosts that are readying The Grand Tour must be having a laugh.

Shame. It was actually better than new Top Gear.
