But those prongs are in no way long enough to cover the entire length of a scissor lift. Balance may be fine, but they should have lifted it sideways.

They don't have to be long enough to cover the entire base of the lift. As long as the center of mass is on/above the prongs it will be fine. Beside that, if it were to fall over it would just balance itself against the building :p

They don't have to be long enough to cover the entire base of the lift. As long as the center of mass is on/above the prongs it will be fine. Beside that, if it were to fall over it would just balance itself against the building :p
