And we, The Dutch conquered it, by God!
Although we didn't do much else and the Spanish and British did far more impressive things.

We did find Australia and New Zealand though.
 
We gave the world capitalism. That is quite an impressive feat. Beside that, we actually managed to somewhat conquer/invade England. Not many countries can say they did that these days.

Well.. Belgium did some great work in Congo! Wait... nevermind.

Wait, we did? I thought we only got Indonesia, Suriname and some small islands as colonies, and we found South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and New York, and had exclusive traderoutes with Japan, China, and dozens of other Asian countries?

Damn, not so small a list after all, huh?
 
Heck we even gave the world M.C. Escher, Piet Mondriaan, van Gogh, Rembrandt, heck we brought the world Dance music as well with our DJs/Producers. Another thing; the first president of the USA who was born there was Dutch from origin. His first language was Dutch. I always find it funny when I see famous people with certain surname which is highly likely to be Dutch of origin. Roosevelt is pretty Dutch for example.
 
I'm guessing Fries has nothing to say here either.
