The Grand Tour [2016-...]

I'm really gonna miss these guys.

Watched the final episode.

God, what an ending. Amazing scenery, great cars, hilarious antics. And the ending was just... Well, couldn't be better, I suppose.

They said they didn't want to go out on a bang, but rather on a high note of their own choosing. And they succeeded. It's a great final episode, without too much insanity. Tons of small references and easter eggs, and I loved it. Them finding the Lancia and Merc from their old special was obviously staged a bit by the crew, but very moving nonetheless

Just saw the entire special.
At the end I was quite literally bawling, almost ugly crying. The moment "Brother In Arms" hit, the moment they showed that flashback to the first special, the moment the cars split, the moment Jeremy says "You never know when it'll be the last time you do something". Too many damn feels. Goddamn 10/10 show. Thank you for those amazing 17 years.
About it being staged: Jeremy did say he kept the light during every special. Possibly the crew set it up, but the guys weren't in on it?

Lots of great moments/humor as well (as always).
“So was that Rimac”
Disoriental Express
James deleting the numbers at the end
The "knob head" gesture at the strangers
The "working on the cars" while doing absolutely nothing related to the cars
The "let's show a 15 minutes later screen and have the crew get us off" moment

Time to rewatch the Botswana special.
