The Future of Minecraft

It isn't growing around TMS and people you know who play Minecraft. New minecraft videos from known people on YouTube are getting thousands of views which builds up to make them want to play and buy it again if they want. There are also adventure maps and mods being released every other day or so.

It's dying for me and you, but not for millions of other gamers :p

Maybe it passed for you personally, but the community is still very much alive and strong. You shouldn't base your judgement on your own opinion..
Sales are down, and the hype is passed. Its not being covered like it used to be, its hit its highlight and now its fading out. It happens to all games. His biggest mistake though was getting all the hype before the actual release of the game.

Even if the sales are down, why the fuck should the people who love this game care?

Sales are down from the huge rush, but still there's more per day than you'd think. You can still sit there and refresh the page every (x) minutes and watch the purchased number grow. Also this is interesting isn't it?:
"In the last 24 hours, 38213 people registered, and 9684 people bought the game."

In the last 24 hours, Notch has made $208,695. And again that number is growing every few minutes.
That's far from dead if you ask me.

I lost the interest almost right before it started to be everything else than just building. Surviving and learning to use redstones and some weird shit isn't just my thing. :P But looking forward the future of MC.
