Oh man, that makes me think about superpowers and Monkey's Paw gotcha's.
Like, what if you could fly at the speed of sound! ... but you're not invulnerable. You'd need to carry a windscreen or something every time you'd want to go faster than 50 or so.
You're super strong! ... but your bones aren't. They splinter under the force of you lifting that couch in one go.
You get laser eyes! ... but you can't see through them anymore, because the laser is always blinding you.
You have super hearing! ... but you're constantly deafened, because EVERYTHING is as loud as 50 cannons to you.
