Steam loading slowly

For me, the Steam site loads slowly only within the Steam client, but mighty fast with another browser.
I'm suspecting there's a problem with the Steam client's browser. :mellow:

It is for me, but then again the steam holiday sales are live, and I guess they're heaving heavy traffic basically 24/7.
 
Yeah I thought that might be it :o in the other sales this didn't happen though so I was worried it was a problem w/ my internet or smth :P tyvm
 
Today the steam store was even not loading for me at all. Couldn't load it in the app, also couldn't access it in any browser :/
Fixed now though.
