Listen to the full song for the full effect. Don't skip it, don't gloss over it. Listen to the whole text, and wait for the final verse. It'll leave you in tears.


Beat Rabbi and DeepSpace5 - DeepSpaceSoul
An older song, but still one I listen to on occasion. Upbeat lyrics that are great to listen to, even though they're not "deep"


Macklemore - Same Love
So, this one you probably know, and now you might go "dude, seriously?" But, if you listen, you'll notice he has some pretty neat lyrics, that hold some great meaning. Thrift Shop was about looking good without spending absurd amounts of money. Same Love is about homophobia in the US, and Kevin is about drug addiction.


Tourist LeMC - Mijn Stad
Okay, so this one is a bit specific, since it's all in Dutch. And even then you might still have difficulty listening to it, because it's heavily accented.


Clipping. - Air 'Em Out
OK, I don't know much about these guys since I recently stumbled upon them, but I like the flow in this song.

Iron Maiden - Empire of the Clouds
Yes, I know, it's Iron Maiden, not exactly what you'd call unknown. However, they brought out a new album in 2015, and started a new tour, even while the lead singer Bruce Dickinson was suffering from throat cancer. If that isn't dedication to music, I don't know what is.


Horisont - Writing On The Wall
A bit more old school sounding rock. It reminds me very much of a specific '70s band, but I can't put my fucking finger on it.


Unleash the Archers - Tonight We Ride
Talking about impressive vocals, this band shot to my favorites in very short time. The instruments are impressive, but when that woman opens her mouth and fucking unleashes it all, well, I might need a new pair of pants. Goddamn.

Rameses B - Visionary & Spaceship
So, this guy is mostly DnB, but he ventures into the more house territories from time to time. Seriously, one of my favorite artists.



Cartoon - Made Me Feel
This one never fails to make me smile. Delicious song. Pretty unknown artist, but they made some great tracks.


Disclosure - You & Me
This one you might know as well. It's somewhat popular, but not extremely. It's one of those songs that make you go "ohhh, that one"


Jasefos Ft. Claire VanDerBoom- Do What U Want
This one got me through some pretty bad love "problems" (or what my 16yo self thought as problems anyway). I still listen to it from time to time, just to relax. I discovered this thanks to the In Search Of Sunrise series which was started by Tiesto, and compiles some local artists into one mix. Great CD's for driving long distances at night.


Well, this got a bit bigger than expected :\ at least now everyone should find at least one song they like, right? Right?

Already a fan of Iron Maiden, and also liked the HORRISON T song. The other rock song was a little too much for me.
