Blu-Ray reader + DVD burner / writer (I'm gonna get this down the line)


Hard drive:
Seagate - 500 GB SATA

I'm gonna get this PC over a period of 5 months.

I'll be satisfied with the rig I'm gonna build, I'm not gonna need a 6-core 18 GHz + 16GB RAM PC.

What would you really need that for? We're not breaking algorithmic code here... we're just playing games ;_;
 
The Aurora is not that awesome IMO, it only has 3GB RAM and a 500GB HDD.
I know you can personalize it yourself but then it will get even more expensive ;_;

I like the case design and the fact that you can change the color of the lights just with a program on your PC
 
My dad's budget was $400, my PC had stuff that added up to about that


Then I showed him and hes like no to all that stuff, and then we ended up spending $700

Got my case, got my DVD drive!


In 4 days, I'm gonna order..

PSU + Mobo + CPU + Memory + HD

The video card will have to wait a bit, it's 160$

160$ knocks the entire price of all my parts up to 520$


I decided to get the AMD Phenom II X4 3.0 GHz Black edition instead of the regular AMD Phenom x4.

Also, changed motherboard to:

The one i listed on my first post doesn't have enough TDP / Wattage to support the 125W AMD Phenom I'm getting now
 
Frost you realize that mobo is Micro ATX... It's fucking TINY. Seriously. It's VERY VERY small.

If you get even a medium size graphics card it will probably not fit because it's gonna hit other components.

Look at the size of the RAM slots in comparison to the rest of the mobo..

I'd really recommend getting a different one
