He bought a tiny 2GB Linux notebook (without a CD drive) for $300, it crashed when he was testing it in the store, and he still bought it. When he took it home, it crashed 2 more times within an hour or so. The next day, his dad walked over 80 miles or 120 km to return it (they said they wouldn't give him his money back, but they did eventually).

His teacher asked my mom to take him to a doctor a while back (check for turrets, no that's not a routine check-up), apparently there was nothing wrong with him...
