Microsoft Surface (pro)

Has anyone got a MS Surface (regular or pro)?

The new one looks pretty awesome because you can install any windows application on it. http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us
This might finally be a tablet that I would like, I've always felt limited on iPad/Android tablets..

I dunno... 800 bucks seems a lot for just a tablet, you're probably better off with a notebook or a small laptop I think... The 500$ one seems interesting, if the performance is alright.

I know but taking this thing to the beach, and working on your lap sounds pretty awesome, IF it's powerful enough.
The freedom of installing whatever you want is why I'm really interested.

I know what you mean, but for 800$ the performance can damn better well be impressive.
