Decided to create this topic since I picked up this game again (never really did any missions before, but just enjoyed the freeroam)

To everybody that doesn't know/hasn't played this game; do it. You'll love it.
The world = huge, vehicles = awesome, grappling hook also rocks.

At the moment I'm just trying to make as many areas (villlages, military bases 100%)

This island was a real pain-in-the-ass to complete a 100%

So I found this great car, a Mancini Cavallo 101 at the race track, (I also just 100%'d that area) but now I can't take it anywhere because there's no road connection to the bridge that passes the island -____-

That island is a bitch indeed.
Protip: when chased, get on top of your vehicle, and fire a hook into the chasing car, and then onto the ground or other cars. Hilarity ensured.
Have you found the Skypalace yet, Mave?

Yes, it's pretty damn epic, until I fell out of it and couldn't be bothered to find a helicopter/buy one and fly there again.



Man I love this game so much.. Hooked it up to my TV, plugged my 360 PC controller in and had fun with only flying and parachuting for a few hours.
Even Steffy likes the game, she loves flying but isn't really good at the bridge limbos.

The more I play though, the more I realize this; they should have included a car radio... If you don't put your own music on, after a few hours it's too damn silent.
The perfect solution for this: listen to the San Andreas radio stations while playing JC2.

Also, when you get a base with a helicopter, DESTROY THE SAM SITES FIRST. After that, steal the helicopter and wreck all the shit you can find. With some skill, you can destroy at least 3 camps with one helicopter. Even if it does get blown up, just wait until the army sends one, and highjack that motherfucker. Particularly usefull when destroying oilrigs, as they have one SAM site which is easily destroyed before it shoots. The only other threat is one elite with a machine gun who is covered pretty good, but has no good shot at you.

Figured this out after they kept shooting my chopper, it's pretty good technique.
Also before you asked me if I had seen the Skypalace, not sure if you meant the Mile High Club, or the balloon, haven't found the balloon yet.

Doing mostly faction missions right now so I can unlock that basejump event that gives you 20k every time you do it.

EDIT: Just spent 20 minutes looking for the last package to go from 97% to 100%, then I fly away (giving up) and see a pipeline mainboard 200 metres away -___-
 
I think it's safe to say I'm getting pretty addicted to this game.

Also today something odd happened, loaded up my game and I lost some progress (which I had saved for sure).

Had that too a couple of times. Or searching for that one packet that's completely out of town.
Another tip, Mave, you probably already know this, but from time to time you'll come across mounted guns. Take them off their bases, those miniguns destroy everything within seconds, including tanks and whatnot.

Yeah, they're pretty damn awesome, love taking down choppers with 'em.



This game would be even more awesome if you could actually have garages and safehouses.
 
Trying to complete every town, every military base to a 100% now.
Also finished the main game missions, which were done surprisingly fast.
Almost all achievements on Steam unlocked as well ::3:

Is it adviced to play the quests before the villages or other way around?

I have completed the main storyline, but not all faction missions yet. I'm just gonna do them when I feel like em, for now I want to complete all the villages and bases.
So no idea really.
 
Currently at 25%, haven't done a lot of story missions though. They really increase that percentage drastically. I am playing with a couple of mods/cheats atm. The big military cargo plane is an AC130, I can get any vehicle from the black market for free, my rope can't break, always spawn with the parachute with the rockets attached to it, have unlimited ammo, stronger cops/military and inf health.
 
I love Bolo Patch, unbreakable grapple makes this game so fun
 
Completing the cities to 100% is a real pain in the ass, also about 30 gas stations in every city (or even more..)

Appearently it's even impossible to get 100% completion, since there are a couple of crates and a watertower that were never placed in-game. There is a mod to fix it though.

Currently at 37%, almost completed 2 out of the 9 territories. Also collecting all the faction items. Those Black Boxes are a bitch sometimes.
Completed all stronghold takeovers, and done a couple of faction missions. Fuck the races, I don't want to do those.

This is going to take all holiday to complete.

My goal for today is completing all the major cities, they're pretty hard, the stuf to destroy and the packages are scattered around in an area 100 x a village's size. Think I yesterday spent an entire hour to get a city 80%.
4 more hours of working and then JC2 time.
