I have an m.2 ssd, with CrystalDiskMark I'm getting 2477.7MB/s read speed and 998.2MB/s write speed. Yet I only get 85MB/s when copying to this drive

Does the "source" drive (from where I'm copying) also need to be m.2 in order to reach great speeds? My other drive in my laptop is a hts721010a9e630 (7200rpm)

Probably an idiotic question, but still I'm not 100% sure that this is the issue.

After doing some research the bottleneck indeed is my 7200HDD, I'm limited by its reading capability.
Will try to upgrade it with an m.2 SSD.
