What's shown in the life pro tip is called a stencil, I've made some myself.
If you're into streetart and want to start I'd recommend stickers.
^ I used to have a big fat stencil, looked like a marker, only magnified 3 times. Buddy made one for me ~5 years ago, I only set two tags back then, and one of them was still visible last year.
