Nestled deep in the Costa Verde National Park in Costa Rica is a rather unusual hotel suite.
The Fuselage room is a two-bedroom suite that has been built inside a retired Boeing 727. The team salvaged the aircraft from San Jose airport, where it had been left in state of disrepair after years of service for South Africa Air and a Colombian airline called Avianca Airlines.
It was then transported piece-by-piece on five trucks to the jungles of Manuel Antonio where it has been re-assembled and refitted to become a luxury room amid the treetops. Guests enjoy ocean and forest views, which they will share with slouths, toucans and many a monkey.
