There was an episode on Supernatural exactly like this. Homeless people got lucky, and made a deal so they could turn into a dog to stay with other people.
Problem was that one guy fell in love with his "owner".
As a dog.
He slept on her bed.
She didn't know he was human and had a crush on her.
