Has modding gone too far?

Modding has never gone too far.

The basic rule for modding is: Mod it until it breaks, then fix it, and mod it some more.

My GTA IV modding experience comes to mind.

You haven't modded until you've modded Skyrim so hard it crashes just from loading a tree.
I may have had a Framerate of 2, but good god the screenshots I could take.

My framerate was actually okay in GTA IV, I could play pretty much like normal until.. random BSOD.

Skyrim had an issue, appearantly, where the maximum amount of RAM it could use was 3GB. Load up enough mods, and you'll hit it, fast. Ever tried playing a game where you could play for ~2 minutes before it just... stops?
