For over 4 days now uploading to Gfycat is no longer possible.
All uploads get stuck at the encoding process.
According to some Reddit user the backend's API was shut down.

Apparently they also have had no staff since August? Time to find an alternative...

Another website outlived by TMS.

Well this is embarrassing.
I have a backup of 2086 gifs. All gifs are served in two formats (normal and mobile), so I have 1043 different gifs.
Meanwhile my account says I've got 1473 gifs.

Now to find a scraper of some sorts to scrape all gifs in my account.

With the dead of Gfycat, I've decided to resort back to videos.
And I don't just mean streamable / streamninja/ ... NATIVE video uploading.
The unavoidable result is that the Animated Gifs section will become a ghost-town.
