Fix headphone plug

Uhm personally I would get the not-broken plug from another headset/earphones/headphones that aren't that important, and try to connect it.

Or buy new ones if it isn't that expensive.

Or bring it to the store and ask if they know what to do.

alright

btw, the plug looks like this:

(Sorry for the bad quality, took the pic with a broken webcam

It's not usable anymore.

If you taped it, it wouldn't be able to plugin and might not work.

BTW; how the HELL did you manage to break that thing? O_o

It was probably in his pc and around his neck, then he wanted to get some food or something and SNAP.

Actually, i was trying to fix my pc's sound that actually worked if i moved the headphone plug on the pc, i did it with my headphones plugged in seeing if it worked, i was so pissed i tried it too hard and the thing broke.

Bumpage
Is it just standard 3,5mm Jack stereo? If yes, go to electronic shop and buy new plug. Cut the cable and attach it to the plug. It's not so hard to do,

Get a 3,5mm stereo jack. Cut the broken one off, and deisolate it. The problem is that the cable has a thin film on it which bewares it for short circuits. You have to melt it away, a shitty job because you can't see if its off. Then you have to braze it on your new jack. Getting a new one is much easier.
