I once cleaned my car deeply, sort of like they described it here. Spend 4 whole hours on it, washing its body, the rims, the wheels, windows, seats, floormats, everything. It looked brand new and shiny.
The reason I cleaned it was because it was my sister-in-law's wedding the next day, and I was to transport her witness (AKA, my GF).
I went over to my GF's house that day, as I was going to spend the night there. I woke up the next morning, go outside to put some stuff in the car, and saw why I shouldn't have parked outside.
Entire car, filthy with dust. Bonnet wasn't blue anymore, it looked more beige. Window had to be wiped, since I couldn't see anything through the layer of dust.
4 hours of work down the drain, I wasn't exactly happy. Thank God the bride didn't mind it being a bit dusty, it appears the only one who cared was me.

Fuck I would be sad man.
There's nothing worse like your car getting dirty again too quickly after it was just cleaned.
My cats at home like to chill on my car's hood.. Basically my hood is always full of catfeet.
