Woman takes lighter ball, because she isn't strong enough to take a heavier, but those light balls have very small holes (because they were made for small people), so likely her fingers just got stuck.

Small ones? There is a fitness I know of that has a bar/bowling alley in it as well, which only has 6 lanes.

Afraid not. It's a tiny place near where I grew up, it's a fitness/poolhall/bowling alley/cafe/squash hall.
