Futurama is cancelled! (again)
Ratings have dropped from 2.6 million in 2010 to 1.7 million in 2012. Currently in it's 7th season, Fox lets Fry and company finish up the rest of the season, with as grande finale:
Total despair may not be neccecary, as this is not the first time Futurama has been cancelled. In 2003 Fox dumped Futurama, but because the ratings re-runs got on Adult Swim, Fox decided that 4 movies should do the trick to revive the series. They sold it on DVD immediately, and aired spliced into 16 episodes and called it "Season 5".
Let's hope that re-runs will be popular once more, and that we may see them again.
