One of the developers of both Vista and 7 left a simple command line trick in the source code for both operating systems that allows you to tack an extra 120 days onto your activation period. The process is simple:

* Click the Start button on your task bar.
* Type cmd into the search box at the bottom of the menu. Press enter.
* Type slmgr -rearm at the command prompt. Press enter.
* Restart your machine as instructed.

That’s it! You now have 120 more days to activate.

I can sense a Windows Update patch coming and a massive lawsuit against the developer for the potential losses.

LOL.

This has been in since Vista, almost everybody knows about it.
Without a scheduled registry hack, this only works 4 times. (and it only resets it to 30 days, meaning 120 is the total possible number of days extra)
