A man who wanted to get married brought his girlfriend home for dinner to meet his parents.
However, after the dinner, the mother quietly told her son that she didn't like his girlfriend and that she was completely against the idea of their marriage. The man and his girlfriend left, and the girl went home.
Feeling depressed, the boy called his best friend. "What am I supposed to do? That's the third girlfriend that my mother has objected to!"
"Why don't you bring home a girl who is just like your mother? Your mother can't object to a girl just like her!" advised his friend.
Months pass and the man has met a lovely girl who is, indeed, just like his mother in many ways. Thinking this is the one, he takes her over to his parents' house for dinner. The mother is completely enamoured with the girl and gives her blessing.
"So how did it go this time?" asks the man's best friend.
"Not so good..." says the man unhappily.
"Why not?? What happened?" asks the friend, surprised.
