I'm guessing it's low res because the game as a whole is too much to handle for a PS5 on the ultra settings

Possibly, I'm also hoping this footage was captured on the base PS5 (and not the Pro).
I bought an Xbox Series X a few months ago by the way, specifically for GTA 6.

I must say, the introduction (in the apartment building for the drug pickup) was quite dark and I was surprised how they took that "ghetto" feeling that you had in the previous games to the next level. It didn't really feel like a simple game anymore with the way they interacted with Jason and Lucia.
I think it's cool we already got a look at Lucia's apartment, and I loved the drive scene after with the cabrio vehicle. It really showed of the graphics in such a good way. This and the rooftop restaurant conversation with Brian and his (third?) wife really showed how next level the graphics are.
Then there was the next driving scene to pick up Raul , which was interesting to see as Lucia had to pick up Jason. I wonder how this will work when you enter missions and if you are sometimes blocked off from the duo mode while in-between missions?
The scene where Raul and Jason are firing on the police cars that are chasing Lucia and them is just simple insane, really showed of the hair physics and how much different animations they've put in the game, next level stuff.
I'm also curious about how many ways there are to complete the game, I feel like you can have a couple of story runs after each other but have a different approach, definitely with this criminal profile that has been talked about in press.
It also seems from all the smaller fragments that these robberies and stuff that you can do whenever you want will feel more like small heists, which I think is great. GTA V really didn't bring much to the table when robbing a store, but in GTA VI you'll get a criminal record depending on how bad (or good) you execute it.
Then there's the live streamer that talks to chat. I am still unsure on how useful the social media will be, I'm sure they've made it interesting but I don't see yet where they are going with it...
Crazy beach visuals/NPC density is confirmed again with a 2 seconds fragment, love that.
I think street racing will be very cool in this game, especially with the nitro being back, just gives me Underground 2 vibes tbh.
Then the parachute scene is awesome, really shows how well they managed to keep a far view with good graphics.
Then there's that last mission, which I think they've gotten via Raul. I'm not sure, the whole part was great to watch but at the same time I was slightly less hyped there, which might be a good thing as I am way too overhyped for this game lol.
I was hoping to see more about Cal as well, but I guess that's for another time hehe.
