Again? There were many big security threats in this/last month. A more secure blog system is serendipity. I don't say its better, but I know that its more secure. Moving from wordpress to s9y isn't worth it. But for the people who are planning a new blog I would recommend s9y.

Did you try my suggestion with the linux livecd knoppix? You don't need a working hard drive for it, it boots up from the cd and RAM. (http://www.knoppix.org/)

The chance isn't big. Burn a linux livecd (such as knoppix) on cd and run it on your PC. Then try to get access to your files by the linux system.

When is the transfer done? The "tomorrow" is over. And why don't you backup the files hosted there? If you have SSH access, it is easy to backup. Just pack the files and download the packed file. I just can't wait to reupload my things. And I also want to register there..

Are you sure that andre's FTP account got bruteforced hacked.? I suspect that there was a security hole in one of the SMF plugins, or in the panel. So they got the access of the owner of the files, andre´s ftp account in this case. Because bruteforce is useless and a very weak methode.. Also...

Then what was the reason for remaking zezombia.com with new script+design+domain then? The old uploader already did what it had to do and it did it quite well (except the account system). Same goes to Microsoft.
