Yeah, I read many comments (often from people claiming to work in the royalty/copyright scene) that the $7500 was a pretty fair deal. Not the best, but decent enough. In my layman opinion: a bad decision by the dude to put this out there as outrage bait.

Without the vertical stand (which is priced at $20, IIRC) I can accept. But without disc drive? That's insanity. Man, people have already posted entire PC builds for that money. Is Sony trying to recoup their losses from Concord with this price? Goddamn.
