Xfire Chatroom and Browser problems

I cant view the adds that usually come on top, cant view the mini profile, and it crashes when i join a room. And also when i open the web browser in any game it does the same thing.
I have tried:
Running as administrator, googling, changing the compatibility mode to XP SP2, and some others, reinstalling like 5 times.. But still same. :huh:

I'm running Vista SP2 64 bit

Its not Vista, since it worked before, started like 2 days ago... So it is definitely not Vista since other people have vista and it works fine.
 
Gpow, the stuff stated above doesn't make much sense :tongue: Since xfire is only for windows, it should work fine.
 
I know, im just pissed at windows cause Ive had so many problems with them.

My Dad's MacBook, on the other hand, Has never had an error or problem :tongue:
 
Macbooks over heat too fast etc.

ANYWAY let's stay on topic and don't go into the Windows-Mac discussion

I've searched for Slayer's problem but didn't found any good results yet
 
I posted on the Xfire forums, and they said that this was a problem that was reported a while ago from other players and they haven't found the solution yet.
 
Seems to be a little odd...

Post the error code here and i'll take a look at it, Even though its a bunch of jibbersh i'll see what i can make of it.

Duz Nobody Read Any More? D:

How about you try this:
1: Uninstall it with Revo uninstaller , Or some other uninstaller program (So all the temporary files/cookies/hidden files for xfire get removed also)

2: Re-Download and Install, but dont use the path that it automatically goes to (((Don't use [DriveLetter]:\Program Files\Xfire))). Install into your "My Documents" Or something.

3: Test and report back here :tongue:
