Rockstar’s upcoming crime thriller is big game, and not just in the sense that it’s highly anticipated by fans around the world. It’s literally a big game. So big infact, that its shipping on three discs for the Xbox 360. It’s to be expected from the title which houses a wealth of content. In a recent interview, Jeronimo Barrera came clean about the size and scope of LA Noire.

“L.A. Noire was always going to be a massive game, from the size and detail of the world to the length of the cases, and of course, the sheer amount of MotionScan data required for the faces of over 400 actors in-game,” Rockstar’s Jeronimo Barrera told our source. “To tell the story and make the game we wanted to make, we knew that it was going to take an entire single layer Blu-ray disc and three Xbox discs.”

If disc swapping isn’t your thing, and you have the means, the PS3 will offer the game on a single Blu-ray disc. Though Barrera reassured those committed to buying it in the multi-disc format, the disc swapping occurs at “natural breaks” in the game, so the flow of the game isn’t likely to be interrupted.

LA Noire is getting ready to launch later this month.

Motherfucking bullshit!
Xbox is sucking ass already, why not just ease it up for yourselves and release it for PC...

I would rather have to stand up and replace a disc, which should take about 10-20sec then having to install the game with a damn slow bluray reader to a HDD which might take up more then 1 hour.

If it was on PC you could download it from steam (Yes It'd take a while but I'd think it's worth it) and install it from there
