WTF Ads

I was gonna check the posts and i logged in after doing so, i was redirected to some malware site that was an "Online Scanner" we all know those.

Seems to be the ads, Has anyone else seen this?

EDIT:
I just went to the board index, tried to click on a site and i was redirected to some other random site that WOT had a warning on.

Edit X2: I was just looking at a topic and without clicking ANYTHING i was redirected to yet ANOTHER malware site which i was UNABLE to exit off of.

I had to end firefox.exe in my process manager to get off of the site...Mave what ad site are you using?
 
In the chatbox, scroll down.

I keep getting redirected from those ads...or is it just me?

I don't see any ads in the chatbox or anything but the scroll area is big so I suppose there are some ads for people not using AdBlock. The way to get rid of them is to get a better shoutbox mod (the current ain't the best available) or remove the ads from the code.
To see what code the installer puts into your files open something like the "install.xml" and the code there is quite understandable. The code itself most likely is put into BoardIndex.template.php file. :smile3:
 
I just got re-directed to a "REPORTED ATTACK SITE!"

Wow, a shoutbox wants you to have malicious ads?

Vote that thing down in the directory of extensions or leave a comment on what it's doing.
 
Maybe because we live in the US?

Ads only search for certain people (Remember the picture when this guy searches Google for WOW (World of Warcraft) and sees "Are you a virgin?"

Same thing applies.
