What would happen if this occurred?

Okay so I was talking about the following...

Imagine meeting somebody and taking them back to your house.
Whilst this somebody is at your house they have a nose bleed or cut themselves in some way and get blood in your house accidentely.
The next day this somebody decides to go missing (lets say to a foreign country and doesn't tell anybody about it)
After a few months the police are informed and come to your house, find their blood, and decide to arrest you for murder.
You go to court and are given a life sentence.
After 25 years you're released and that somebody shows up safe and sound, if you then decide to kill that person can you go back to prison?

You can't go back to prison if that person is declared dead.
It is impossible for you to commit the same murder twice.
But the chance is small of you getting convicted, since the only proof they will have is some blood stains in your home/apertment.

Also, I don't understand how life = 25 years. Life in my opinion is the rest of your life

I agree with the first sentence.

And 25 years - life, because, lets say you're 18, 18+25=43. Well you're 43 years old, with only high school education, and MURDER on your criminal records. What the hell will you do in your life >_<. Your life is basically gone.
