My stereo amplifier. 2x5W but I connected 2 30W speakers to it and it also worked fine.
You might have better amplifiers, with bass regulation, more power, better look etc.
But mine is still the best.
Because I MADE IT.
I installed all the elements on the PCB, I prepared the plastic housing to put all the stuff in it, I connected the diodes, power supply through the bridge rectifier ? This is what Google translator said D: , mounted all the connectors to the case and I made all things in it working.
It has smooth volume regulation, Standby mode and a Mute function. I'm thinking of putting a preamplifier into the case so I can control basses and stuph :D
Cost? For me - less than 15$
I'm damn proud of it, and I will never sell it :D

I made one some time ago. It is real oldschool - it uses electronic tubes. It's not powerful, but enough to use with my LEGO NXT Guitar (Yes, you are right) with some nice speakers. Yours is nice

Nice Avalkiz, it's such a great feeling when you make something entirely on your own... and it works perfectly.
